Public Hearings Darwin 17 October 2022

The Royal Commission into Defence and Veteran Suicide has announced they will be holding public hearings in Darwin from 17 October 2022.

Upcoming public hearings dates:

• Townsville from 20 June 2022 at the Mercure Hotel
• Hobart from 1 August 2022 – venue TBC; and
• Darwin from 17 October 2022 (new information).

We are also awaiting the Royal Commission's interim report, which is due by 11 August 2022. This report will outline the results of the investigations so far and make recommendations on issues requiring urgent or immediate action. The Commission's final report and recommendations are due by 17 June 2024.
